Parts Catalogue Backup on Azeler: Complete Data Protection

· · ⏱️ 6 min read

What the backup saves

The MitikLive backup stores a complete copy of every part in your Azeler catalogue: OEM reference, vehicle make and model, description, price, condition (new, reconditioned, remanufactured) and all photos. All your data is safely stored in the cloud.

💡 Important:

A scrapyard can hold thousands of references. Losing that catalogue could mean weeks of work. A backup protects you against any unexpected event.

Why you should back up your parts

1. Protection against data loss

If you lose access to your account or a technical problem arises, you will have a complete copy of all your parts ready to restore.

2. Migration and management

With your catalogue backed up you can move it, reorganise it, or republish it whenever you need without re-entering any data.

3. Foundation for republishing and editing

The backup is the foundation for republishing parts and for bulk-editing prices with confidence: you can always roll back to the previous state.

How to create a backup step by step

  1. Open Azeler in your browser with the MitikLive extension installed.
  2. Go to your parts catalogue.
  3. Click "Backup" in the MitikLive panel.
  4. Wait for it to finish: the system will save all your parts along with their photos and references.

📦 Tip:

Create a new backup every time you add a significant batch of parts, so your copy is always up to date.

Restoring your catalogue

From your MitikLive panel you can browse all backed-up parts and restore them whenever you need. The restore operation retrieves each part with its original data and photos, ready to be published again on Azeler.
