Why Do You Need to Back Up Your Listings?

There are several situations where a backup saves the day:

  • Accidental deletion: You removed a listing by mistake
  • Wallapop removes the listing: For any reason under their policy
  • You want to relist: You delete and repost, but need the original data
  • Recurring items: You sell the same product on a regular basis
  • Account switch: You want to move listings to another account
  • Lost phone: Without a backup, you lose your entire catalogue

⚠️ Wallapop does NOT save your deleted listings.

Once you delete a listing, it is gone forever. The photos, description, price... everything. Without a backup, you will have to recreate it from scratch.

Manual Method: Limited and Tedious

Without tools, the only way to "back up" your listings is to save the information manually:

  1. Open each listing one by one
  2. Copy the title and paste it into a document
  3. Copy the description
  4. Note down the price and category
  5. Download the photos one by one to your phone or computer
  6. Repeat for every listing...

If you have 20–30 listings, this can take you several hours. And you have to repeat it every time you add new products.

Automatic Backup with MitikLive

With the MitikLive browser extension you can back up all your listings with a single click. The process is fully automatic:

How it works:

  1. Install the browser extension
  2. Link your Wallapop account
  3. Click "Back Up Now"
  4. The extension scans all your listings automatically
  5. They are saved in your MitikLive dashboard

⚡ Backup speed:

A full backup of 50 listings takes approximately 2–3 minutes. You can keep using your browser while it runs.

What Gets Saved in the Backup?

The MitikLive backup includes all the information from each listing:

  • Full title
  • Description (complete text)
  • Price
  • Category and subcategory
  • Condition (new, like new, used)
  • All images (up to 10 per listing)
  • Location
  • Shipping options
  • Publication date
  • Current status (active, reserved, sold)

Images are saved in their original resolution, without compression. That way, when you relist them, the quality remains the same.

How to Restore Listings from the Backup

Restoring a listing is just as easy as creating the backup:

  1. Go to your MitikLive dashboard
  2. Navigate to the saved listings section
  3. Find the listing you want to relist
  4. Click "Relist"
  5. The system creates the listing on Wallapop automatically

You can also edit the listing before relisting it: change the price, update the description or choose which account to publish it to.
