Why Back Up Your Listings
Your Milanuncios listings represent real work: photos, descriptions, optimised prices. Keeping a copy protects you against:
- Accidental deletion
- Listing expiry
- Technical issues
- Account migration
⚠️ Important:
Milanuncios does not offer any option to export listings. MitikLive is the solution to protect your catalogue.
What Information Is Saved
MitikLive's Milanuncios listing publisher and renewer creates a complete copy of each listing, including:
- Title and full description
- Price and contact details
- Category and location
- All photos in their original resolution
- Listing metadata (publication date, ID, status)
- Category-specific attributes (brand, model, size, etc.)
Manual vs Automatic Method
MitikLive offers two ways to back up your listings. Choose the one that best suits your needs:
Manual Backup
Ideal for one-off copies when you want to save the current state of your listings.
- You decide when it runs.
- You can select specific listings or back up all of them at once.
- Useful before making major changes to your catalogue.
Automatic Backup
The extension saves a copy of your listings every time it performs a renewal or republication.
- Activates automatically without you having to remember.
- You always have the latest version saved.
- Does not use additional credits.
💡 Recommendation
Combine both methods: enable automatic backup as a safety net and run a manual backup before modifying important listings.
How to Create a Backup
- Go to "My Listings" on Milanuncios
- Click the MitikLive icon
- Select "Full backup"
- Wait for the process to complete
- You will see a summary with the total number of listings saved
The backup is stored in the cloud and you can access it at any time from the MitikLive dashboard.
⚠️ Warning:
Do not close the tab while the backup is in progress. Depending on the number of listings and photos, the process may take several minutes.
Restoring Listings from a Backup
If you have lost a listing or want to recover a previous version, the restore process is very straightforward:
- Open the MitikLive panel on the "My Listings" page.
- Click the "Backups" section.
- You will see a list of all saved copies, sorted by date.
- Select the listing you want to restore.
- Press "Restore" and MitikLive will republish the listing with all the original information: text, photos, category, and price.
Partial restore
You can also restore only certain fields of a listing. For example, if you accidentally changed the price but the rest of the listing is correct, you can recover just the price field from the backup.
💡 Note
Restoring a listing uses republication credits (1 credit per restored listing), since technically a new listing is published using the backed-up data.
Backing Up Multiple Accounts
If you manage several Milanuncios accounts with our Milanuncios listing publisher and renewer, you can back up all of them from a single place.
- Individual backup: Access each account and launch the backup separately.
- Centralised backup: From the MitikLive dashboard, select "All accounts" and run a bulk backup.
Each backup is labelled with the source account name, so you can easily identify which listings belong to each profile. Check our guide on multiple accounts for more details on multi-account management.
Scheduling Periodic Backups
For users with large catalogues or those who update their listings frequently, we recommend scheduling periodic backups:
- Open the MitikLive panel and go to "Settings".
- In the Backups section, enable "Scheduled backup".
- Choose the frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Select your preferred time (we recommend low-activity hours).
- Save your changes.
⚠️ Requirement:
For the scheduled backup to run, the browser must be open and the extension active at the configured time. If your computer is switched off, the backup will run the next time you open the browser.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many listings can I save in the backup?
There is no limit to the number of listings you can save. MitikLive creates a complete copy of all listings visible in your Milanuncios account, regardless of quantity. The backup includes both active and paused listings.
Are the listing images saved?
Yes, MitikLive saves all photos from each listing in their original resolution. The images are stored in the cloud alongside the rest of the listing data, so you can restore a complete listing at any time.
Can I restore listings to a different account?
Yes, it is possible to restore a backed-up listing to an account different from the original. This feature is especially useful if you need to migrate listings between accounts or if you have created a new Milanuncios profile. You simply need to have both accounts linked in MitikLive.
Do backups take up space on my computer?
No, backups are stored in the MitikLive cloud, not on your device. This means they do not take up space on your hard drive and you can access them from any computer where you have the extension installed and are signed in with your Google account.
